PICTURE DAY
is THURSDAY, SEPT 2, 2021.
About Underclassmen Picture Day:
Students will be called out of 1st or 2nd period by grade levels and by alpha (last name). Please listen for the announcements to know when to take your picture. Pictures will be taken in the auxillary (small) gym. Students should enter through the door near the main office.
Do I have to get my picture made?
Yes, if you want to be in the 2022 Yearbook, but you are not required to purchase pictures.
How to order:
Pick up an order form in homeroom or the main office. Select your package and bring your payment and completed form to the photographer on picture day. You will receive a proof of your picture even if you do not order. You will also get a code to purchase online after you see the proof.
How do I order?
Order forms for students not photographed in September were delivered during 2nd periods on Oct 2. You can also pick up an order form in the main office. Money and forms should be given to the photographer.
What happens if I miss picture day?
Make-up pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 3.
What if I'm at DCCC in the mornings?
We will make sure a camera stays up and ready until you get here. As soon as you arrive back on campus, go to the small gym, and we will be waiting on you.
When do teachers/staff get pictures made?
All staff can take pictures by 7:30 a.m. If you do not get your picture made before school, you will need to go during 1st or 2nd period or in the 1st 10 minutes of Smart Block.
When can I expect my students to return to class after they leave for pictures?
Hmmm..?? That's a tough one. We will have 4 photographers taking pictures and my yearbook staff will be pushing them through the process as quickly as possible. I will call down the next letter group when there about 10 kids left at each camera. Then there's the legitimate loooonnnngggg walk back to your classroom from the small gym. Give them a few minutes after the next group is called before you start looking. That student may be the last one in the camera and you may be in the top of the tower. If you feel that an unreasonable length of time has passed, call the office and start the search.

What if I don't like my first photo and want a re-take?
You can come to 5436 during your Smart time. If you ordered a package originally, please bring it with you to the photographer.
Where do I go and when?
Pictures will be taken in the wrestling room during Smart Block. You will need to go during your designated Smart Block.
